Creating a New LiDAR Project

For a LiDAR project, start with the New Upload button in the main window :


Upload a file to be used as reference for the project


Select a file to be uploaded, drag and drop it into the area and press next.


Fill in the New Project info

For Latitude and Longitude, you must enter the coordinates that will be used to locate the project.

To get coordinate values, open the kml used as reference in Google Earth


Use the coordinate values that are displayed on the bottom right corner of Google Earth.

Define the coordinate system. NB: it is possible to skip the Z. Once finished press OK and the upload will start.

At the end of UPLOAD, the project will be displayed in the list of projects

Now open the project again.

Press the upload button to check layers that were already uploaded.

For adding a LIDAR file, choose “ Import a reference file to be shared across all missions of a project”

Drag and drop the *.las file in the upload area.



Select a coordinate reference system and press Import

Upload will start and the status will be visible on the status bar.

Once finished a notification will appear in the list of notifications.
