Several Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities can be managed efficiently through delair.ai, leveraging reality captured and processed in delair.ai (nadir roof and vertical facade orthomaps, 3D models, annotations) and building theoretical data, from 2D or 3D CAD files. This is notably the case for as-built vs. as-designed comparative analysis. In this article we review a few examples for such activities.
2D as-built vs. as-designed Analysis
A CAD file is ingested (building floorplan) and overlaid on the 2D real layer (orthomap of the building roof processed by delair.ai from a drone survey).
Use annotations to mark and collaborated around defects from delair.ai processed maps. In example hereafter, a polygon is used to annotate rust stains noticed on one of the building outer walls.
